Product Informatiıon: Lentils are the dried seeds of the cultivated plants belonging to the species Lens esculenta Moench(Lens culinaris Medic) of the Leguminosae family.Football lentils are round and relatively larger-sized lentil grains.These lentils are larger and rounder, with a smooth and even surface. They have a high protein and fiber content. Compared to other types of lentils, they may require a slightly longer cooking time.They can be dark red in color. Lentils should have a characteristic taste and odor. They must not be soaked or re-soaked, and they should not appear moldy to the naked eye. Lentils must be free from common vetch (Vicia sativa) and, consequently, should not contain B-cyanoalanine.Furthermore, lentils must be free from live insects or animal residues.

General Physical Properties: Organic red football lentils should be 100% pure. Oil polishing and water polishing are not used in organic football lentils. Football lentils may contain 1-2% split lentils.
